An open letter from the continent you keep diagnosing as “neurotic” to the columnist doing unpaid comms for Trump’s security strategy and calling it tough love.
Thanks Lisa. When the Telegraph runs this kind of “Europe is mad, Trump will save us” narrative, it stops being a newspaper and starts auditioning as a comms arm for somebody else’s strategy. The aim of the piece wasn’t just to shout at one columnist, it was to say, if we keep swallowing this stuff whole, we’ll wake up one morning and find our rights, our autonomy and half the continent have been quietly hosed down the drain. Glad the reality check landed.
Reading my mind. The right wing US assault was no surprise. I am stunned by US arrogance, a nation that has fallen so low and lost all credibility. Mostly though I am at a loss to understand how our own could entertain or embrace this dangerous rhetoric
Blame Fox LIES! And their Ilk! The very reason they got Reagan Elected twice! He had Full on Dementia his second term, Nancy did all the talking for him, using the words her father ordered her to say! Old Ronnie was in La La Land, but still as President! Wandering around the White House getting lost.

If you’ve studied history and still look at a continent caught between Putin’s shells and Trump’s strategy doc and decide the real problem is migrants and pronouns, then you’re not analysing the past, you’re auditioning to repeat it.
